I am looking for insurance for my GN and GSX. Anyone heard of or use American Collector Insurance? Any other suggestions? Thanks Zach
www.hagerty.com Stated value coverage, with restrictions, but not as strict as some other collector car plans. I have $8000 coverage currently, runs about $100/yr. I've had them 2 years, and had a claim this spring, handled very well, with no delays in getting the claim paid. I had to send the rear bumper out myself, and they even covered my shipping expenses. If you tell them you drive 5000 miles per year, they might not offer you a policy. This isn't coverage for a daily driver. But you do have flexibility for your pleasure driving. But it's not for a car you drive to work, or running normal errands.
insurance zach, i also use haggerty insurance. you tell them how much you want to insure your car for, send them some pictures and some info they ask for. they gave me no hassles, my gsx is also covered when its on the trailer.
I have american collector insurance. I started off with a stated value policy for 15,000, and 2500 mile limit. After 2 years they let me upgrade to a 5000 mile plan. Cost is about 156.00/year. I have no complaints.

Zach check with your agent if they will cover trips to get an ice cream, kids sporting event or just a ride to air her out. Some companys want you to only go to and from car events and other "pleasure" trips you are "not" covered.:gt:
American Collector Ins. I also have American Collector Ins. and have done so for about eight years. Very reasonable cost, have had one claim and they paid without a complaint. In my experience they are a quality outfit.
