Guess that means I won't be fixing mine... though I've been intending to fix it since the first year of the board, so I'd probably not have done it anyway.
I was curious when reading the thread so I had to try it. I was able change mine to an animated avatar no problem.
Up to now only admin, mods and supermods were able to have animated avatars. I've now set it ot be ok for all mambers. The animation not that bandwith consuming to worry about, however it may frustrate dial-up users.
