Is the baffle at the back of the wheelwell that keeps crap out of the lower front body area. This is the plastic piece that bolts to the frame and seals up that area....had to search high and low to find two for my ragtop, surely they can't be much to reproduce....pretty simple piece....

Well we are on it, how about plastic wheelwell housings??? Try to find a passenger side without rust....

    Any market for that??

I'd certainly prefer them to metal for my Skylark. I thought Olds Cutlasses came with them. I know I've seen them on Chevelles.

Olds Cutlass and 442's of the 70-72 era came with plastic inner fenders, and they will bolt to a buick. Save a few pounds in the process.

so the 70-72 cutlas inners are a direct bolt on? that would be great news, theres a cutlas right beside the skylark i'm stripping at the local yard. are any mods needed at all?

YO DARRYL?? Never heard that one before. You are saying the right and left inner fender wells from a 70-72 Cutlass/442 will fit a 70-72 Skylark/GS?? New one on me. Would be killer if it actually works though. Is there a lot of mods you have to do to install one, or is it a direct bolt in?? Thanx

I dont know for sure, at least not personally...
I exchanged posts on the old BB with someone who claimed they had done it, and it was a bolt-in.

    There both GM A-bodies...
The fenders have a very similar shape... Infact I once bought an olds fender thinking it was a buick piece... That's why I asked the question on the old BB in the first place.

It makes sense to me that it would work... But I'v never tried.

I'll post this question in the "pure stock" forum in the hopes that someone will answer it again..... Watch for the post!
