If anyone is listening....hood hinges. Be nice to be able to purchase new hood hinges. I kow they can be rebuild but its pricey, good used are near impossible to find, they all have wear of some sort.... I'd take two pair. later Tim

Jim Weise has rebuilt some for me and others here inn the past. I am not sure whether he still offers the service.
Don't even both with OPG. Try www.oldbuickparts.com. I'm pretty sure they've got them listed somewhere on their online catalog.
I don't know why all of the a-bodies were not designed to share hood hinges. Every one of them takes their own. :spank: I was lucky and at least found one nos pair of them years ago. I'm saving them for the Stage 1 conv. restoration, although the car will probably be petrified by the time I get too it. :grin: Hopefully if somebody goes to the effort to repro them they will make them decent quality.
