my brothers 71 buick skylark ran out of gas now carb will not kick down at all no tach but seems like 4000 plus rpm on cold start. adjusted curb idle and fast idle screws nothing used carb cleaner nothing. 750 holley on 350 divorced choke works choke pullers work im stuck at a stand still with this one guys
I would be looking for either a sticking throttle linkage, both primary and secondary, or a vacuum leak.
