My to cents Gary you dont uh look in to a used diesel they are the way to go for pulling they do no luge up hills like gas burns no sparkplugs to change and oil changes every 5000 miles
gary,my brother lives just outside houston and i am sure he will look at anything down there that you want.give me a call and i will give you his number . my number is on the norwalk flyer
Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but when I ran the truck thru the KBB website, I got a lower retail (private party) value of $17,710. Wholesale/trade-in was only $15,450. In both cases, that was using a vehicle condition of excellent. If I try a more reasonable "good" condition, the numbers are $16,450 and $14,315. It's tough to find a vehicle less than two years old with 61K miles that is in excellent condition (according to the KBB definitions). The other interesting thing is he has the difference between retail and trade-in as about $3450. If I use 38000 miles and excellent condition, I get a retail value of about $20,400, which is close to what he got. The wholesale value for the same vehicle is $18150. Thats only a $2250 difference. His numbers don't jive with anything I see on KBB.
