it runs really well, doesnt look all that well and was thinking about one of those electric choke conversion kits to add onto it. Im running an aluminum intake manifold and dont want to run one of the coil type of chokes. Any thoughts? My car is non matching #'s so not looking to be total original/stock , although I made it look stock.. ;)

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

If your only intent is to drive on warm, sunny days why even bother with a choke? Just 2-3 easy pumps (not full ones) to find the "sweet spot" for your car to start. After that, just bring up RPMs slowly to around 1500-1600 RPMs a few times for maybe a minute. And, after that....into gear and just drive away.

Here in Massachusetts the fall is very nice to drive/cruise and I will drive it up to the first day of snow.....so yes Im going to have to invest in a choke.
