There is a park near the house and My daughter invited me to go with her and the grand-kids. The community is making a event out of it. Lets make some memories.

I am located in the center of the path near Buffalo. I guarantee it will be cloudy that day.

The two pathways posted don't agree completely. One may be "bent" a little to make it fit the story.

I'm renting 3'x3' spots at my place, $1000 for the day.
Figuring that I have 20 acres, and if I can rent it all out, I can buy out Elon Musk.

Who wants to go to Mars and drive Buicks on the Red planet while posting it all on the Twitter?

Call now. Operators are standing by...

Got to experience the February 26, 1979 total solar eclipse as it passed through Manitoba. Very cool to when the skies darkened and many stars became visible.

When I was born, we still lived in Nashville IN. My Great-Great grandparents sold the land to the State of Indiana for the State Park.

Oh yeah! My wife and I drove up to our summer house in Virginia Tuesday morning. We visited family, and now are taking another journey to Southwestern Ohio. Going to my brother-in-law‘s house in the north west corner of Cincinnati. Monday morning we’re going to get up early and go to our secret spot on the Indiana Ohio border. I say secret spot because I went to the Ohio Department of Transportation website. They have a map showing where they expect all the traffic back ups. Apparently, according to ODOT, they don’t expect anyone to go where I’m going. (I hope I’m going to the right place) To my disbelief it looks like the weather is going to be perfect, 69° and sunny. I can’t wait. I’ve already bought the solar sunglasses and I bought solar film to put on my camera lenses.

Same for us, we're in the path. The state is expecting 200k visitors. We're right in the sweet spot.

Me, my wife and another couple are driving to Henderson, KY from Bowling Green, KY. Hoping there isn't too much of a crowd on the road. We've all got eclipse glasses and some cold drinks.

Now, everyone pray for sunny weather.

My late Father-in-law was an eclipse freak; he chased them all over the world. If he were still alive I guarantee he would find a way to see this one.

Is it weird that I am content to see it on TV?

Staying home. Saw the one on the west coast several years ago. Beside that we are in the 90% zone, so that works for me.

I'll drive an hour or two for full eclipse. That's my limit.
