  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

You should see "Upload a file" next to "Post Reply". If not, click on "More Options" and see if it comes up.

Reviving this thread...help! I have spent hours hunting and pecking trying to attach a photo to a conversation/message and was just informed by another member (thanks Steve!) that there should be an "upload files" button next to the "post reply" button...but I dont have it when having a private conversation?? I generally use a laptop but the same situation presents it self on my android device. Weird thing is, the "upload files" button is clearly visible when I type this post, just not when I participate in a private conversation.
    Maybe one of my settings?
    Any help is much appreciated
    Thanks,
    Tom

I don't think there is a provision for adding pictures. I just posted a thread with the other person's name and we did it that way.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

I thought the same as Pat, but yesterday I had a conversation and was able to attach a photo just like in a normal thread? I wonder what happened?

Maybe it's browser specific? Not sure.

Thanks for the replies Gents....I`m getting the "post reply" and "more options" button but the "upload a file" button is not there? I`m using Firefox for both my laptop and android device.
Do we have a contact person who is responsible for IT troubleshooting on the v8 forum?
    Thanks again,
    Tom

I just had the same experience only I was able to upload pics & he wasn't.

It seems to be an ongoing issue. Too many ppl ask about it for it to be user error.
