THere is a connection I am unaware of here...

You have on the rear of the intake: Vacuum modulator vacuum line (metal line), PCV Valve, Brake Booster....

What is the line in the middle coming out with the rubber line!!??

    I haven't seen this before.

    Adam,
It's a full vacuum line, maybe going to the vacuum storage tank(heater controls). It has a holley on it, that connection came off the back of the Q-jet. You can cap it off if not needed.

That would be my guess to, not being able to see where it's ending.

Cool. Thanks for he quick replies.

I went ahead and took a test cock off a backflow preventer and stuck it on there for the time being. The test cock is basically a small ball valve that can be turned on or shut off. I didn't feel like driving to the store:grin: :Do No:

    Adam,

Larry and Rich are right...that's the vacuum line to the accumulator for the heater-A/C controls.

Yup, that is where my vacuum canister for the A/C hooks to. Then the other for the trans modulator valve. Just like you have it. I hope you see a difference whith it. I did going from a Poston to the B4B. I will be running the newT/A SPX (?) intake and Holley 950HP BIGS modified carb on the engine that Jim W. is building for me. It should be pretty cool! He said the ports look real nice on the new one, saving the expense of porting the intake. It along with my new T/A front cover will be polished. It will look awesome! Brian :)
