b4b intake

This edelbrock b4b intake manifold is for a 455. All the threads and holes are good.

I have many performance parts listed from this same engine. The 70 ported heads are sold.
The engine has several cupped lifters. The Only reason I am not reusing this engine is I am going with a date correct engine.

Is the intake that will allow the use of the factory air cleaner?

 

Sorry didn't mean to ask the wrong question here. I guess I should have used a pm.

 

No problem, no wrong question. You can use the factory air cleaner, it just sets a little forward than the original.

 

The B4B will not have to correct alignment of the factory air cleaner. The Performer fixed that.

 

I have had four different GS cars with the B4B and it sets correct except it is forward about 1 to 1 1/4 inches.
Picture of my 71 GS 455 convertible with a B4B. Is it perfect, no but it works fine.

Looking for 72 GS 455 Power Steering brackets. I believe I found the PS brackets....
The PS bracket is part number 1238314 and is stamped 455-A 350
The cast aluminum, part number 1238313. Also cast 455-A 350
