    Hi Jan,

Do you make one of these for a reverse manual valve body? Basically, it would keep you from going from first to third with a stop at second, that the original plate doesn’t have.

James, my plate does exactly that but just with stock shifter pattern - forward. I do not have them for reverse. My plate is a direct bolt in at the stock plates location all you need to do is remove console, change plate and install console again.

I am now advised that my plate is a detent plate, but it still works as when I called it a rachet plate - LOL.

Still in stock and ready for summer time.

How have I missed this? Does this differ from the stock shifter plate? It's funny just thru force of habit I always squeeze the button from 1 to 2 and 2-3. On the stock one I think I can just bump 1 to 2 and you need to squeeze from 2-3 is that correct? Or is it the opposite way around?

With a stock plate you can go directly from 1st to neutral. This one bolts right in place as the stock plate, but allows you to shift from gears with a stop in each gear or you can just put it in Drive and let it do its thing by itself.

You mean a stop in each gear without having to pull on the spring-handle to release it from each detent? Like you can just nudge it from gear to gear?

I have one and it works great. No worries about accidentally shifting into the wrong gear

From 1st to 2nd you just push, then click the lever and you can push to 3rd with a stop.
