The Electra is having problems. It died the other day, and wasnt getting gas to the carb, so today i decided to test the pump out. I put a tube into a gas can, and it pumped, but when i hooked it back to the tank (on the car) IT DIED.:blast: So I dont know if the pump is too weak to pull gas from the tank, or i have a clog somewhere. Is there a screen or something in the tank, and if so, can I get to it?

how do i get to the sock in the tank? is it through the sender guage, and is that on the top of the tank?
