Saw this on Hemmings: https://www.hemmings.com/listing/19...8102230ab811a1a98677a6dfe72c8b5b422c69fbcd4cc Gotta admit my fav color combo...and the price seems fair but I would want to see it first. Cheers!
I'd have to put the top back on and white wouldn't be my 1st choice but damn, if I wasn't broke... Kid in HS back in the mid 80's had the same car (GS & incl. sunroof) in silver that his Dad bought new & was in beautiful condition. Always wondered what happened to it. Hopefully it's stashed away & looks.the same but I doubt it.
Sorry fo the typo. I was so excited about the car...! I hear you, @DanO. No room and not much cash, but wow! What a great addition to someone's collection. Agree on the top, but gotta stick with the white. So cool in SO FL! Cheers!
So it came with the $171 Gran Sport handling package (A9), but I don't see the chrome air cleaner lid without the 455-4 decal: Only 3.5% of the 1973 Rivieras (same number for the first year, 1972) came with the sunroof option, you had to order electric windows if you wanted the $589 electric sunroof. 117 or .3% came with the manual sunroof 1091 or 3.2% electric sunroof There is something strange going on with the fuel gauge: in one photo it reads full, in the next photo it's half full and there's also a photo that shows 1/4 of a tank, all with the same mileage on the trip odometer. (check the bigger photos in the Hemmings article) But later I read this in the description of the owner:
I never owned a 1973 Riviera with an electric sunroof, so I didn't realise that the switch says TOP (did they used the 1973 Centurion convertible top switch?) instead of SUNROOF or even ROOF.
