First off I can’t thank the members and resources here!! Been crazy busy with the Buick since I got it home last month.
Finally got some small things fixed (trunk seal, some fuses, new interior and dash lights) ordered new dash cluster and tach. Also got some much needed work on the backend done. Installed all new upper and lower rear control arms from BMR with poly bushings along with new rear springs and fresh drum brakes. This week I’ll be painting the dash and glove box area, and installing new cluster with tach and push starter in place of lighter. Finishing work on front end too new intake gasket, valve cover gaskets, clutch fan and belts. Will also be doing front disk brake upgrade with 2” drop spindles, currently front is sitting low 24 inches at the fender, due to worn springs and shocks, yet looks great with the rake so I’m aiming to keep the look with the drop spindles. Also scored an insane deal on some 18x8 Ridler 695’s with 4.5 inches of back space (0 offset) so will most likely run 225/50R18 or
255/45R18 just don’t want to rub upfront but I think the 255 will fit, just want to keep it as lose as possible to 27”. I will post pics soon! Any feed back, info or tips is always welcomed too!!! Hope you all had a great weekend!
