Congrats - That's what I was hoping but then this post make it seem like you were still considering it. Seems like a pretty solid car to play with.

As I'd posted in the original thread I think it's a super neat car but I'm impartial to factory manual steering cars (ad said no PS - I'm assuming was originally that way). I was wondering what the original color was but you answered that. Would love to see a Sloan/Wayne Roberts report on it if you have or if you get one.

Welcome back and congrats on the purchase.
Been contemplating selling my 70 GS 455 and yours has given me a good idea of current value. Good luck with the new car!!

Very nice. Unusual to see a silver '70 w/o a vinyl top although the orange looks pretty good and I even like the wheels. Have you had a chance to check out how much rust repair it needs? Any longer term plans for it yet? The front disks would've been added (you probably knew that). I'd be putting it back to (alum.) drum. Looks like someone changed the interior from the base 128 (even more stripper - I'm liking your car more and more:)) to the custom split fold including the door panels. Noticed the "Z" on the trim tag too which is supposed to denote a non-recommended color combo but black goes w/everything. My 128 interior car has the same "Z" designation.

Johnny/if you ever repainted, paint it back to the original color platinum Mist that's a bad ass Color combination although it wasn't popular back in the day it is now.

Great car! Awesome color combo, love silver/silver. Congrats!! I see it’s a 09B early build car, same week as mine. In fact my vin is just 700 ish numbers before yours. When I found my build sheet the date stamped on it was actually 09/08/69, a Monday.....everybody hates Mondays :(

    Here you go 14-B , 14-14 is better unless it's a convertible. IMG_4009.PNG

    Thanks all
Thanks, I did not know that Disc would have been added iI would like to find out if i can just add a booster. I am a Silver lover too kinda classy looking. hopfully not to much more rust than the obvious. So the Z means not recommed interopr color?
interesting i didnt know this. Yeah this car has no ps/pb no ac and a plain interior cool. thanks for the info i would like to check out your interior. As far as long term plans. i think after i get the car home and see exactly what its all about. hopfully i can move forward and paint back to original color and get a set of factory wheels. I do like the weld wheels also. Dash pad for sure.
