I want to swap a Buick/Olds/Rover 215 into my 62 Buick Special. Presently my Special is equipped with the original Buick 198 V6 engine mated to a Muncie M21. It is my understanding that the 198 V6 shared a common platform with the Buick 215 in 62 and 63. If so, will the Bellhousing from my 198 V6 work on a 215? The flywheel? Thanks

The bellhousing on your 198 v6 is the same as the 215 V8 bellhousing. It looks like the bell on the right. You can bolt up a T5 5-speed to it as well. If the bell looks like the one on the left, it's a 64 and later V6 you have and it won't bolt up to a 215. That's a BOP bellhousing.
