As a known motor head, I must have recieved 2 or 3 bit screwdrivers. Most of te time, the bits get lost, or ussually broken. leaving just the handle. Useless?? Think again. The bit size is 1/4". The screwdirver works great for smaller hose clamps, and quick tear downs of an HEI type coil. :bglasses: I keep one in the box now. It really pulls it's weight when used for small hose clamps. Bassically anything with a 1/4" head. I could never figure out who needs a racheting screwdriver :Do No: Joe :beer

That's a great tip. I have been using one for years. It just reinforces the 'never throw a tool away, even if it is broken' thinking. I have also taken old worn out screw drivers, pulled the shafts out of the handles and used the shafts in the drill. A long shaft one makes a perfect tool for priming the oil pump.

Poor mans priming tool- Get a 3/8 shaft flat head and break teh handle off. Get a 13mm socket and tack weld it to the end of the screw driver. The shaft is 1/2, and the socket ensures the screwdrive will center itself on the shaft on not slip off. Works great
