I just want to fore warn anyone to be extremely careful when dealing with Eric Holtz from Pittsburgh, aka Buicknut on racingjunk.com. Let me say a got burned. One day I was looking through the ads and noticed a set of 350 Buick heads that were ported and up for sale for $450. There wasn't any detailed info so I sent an email to Eric to see if they were still available. He replied back telling we that he still had the heads. He then sent me another email saying
. I sent Eric another email asking for details about the heads. He wrote back saying
. After I received that email I checked out RCS's web site to see what kind of work they did. I was impressed by what RCS shown and stated. I sent another email to Eric to find out how much porting was actually done. The reply I received was this,
. I decided to call Eric to get more details such as flow numbers but he did not have any. I spoke to him for about an hour and felt confident that what he spoke was true and honest. To make a long story short, I had him send me the items cod and had the shipping charged to my ups account. I received the boxes the following day and felt this was a bad deal going really bad as soon as I seen the boxes. He wrapped the heads in bubble wrap but shipped them in egg boxes! The 3 boxes were falling apart but I decided to accept them anyways since I had them insured. The first box I open was the parts box with the timing chain the was suppose to be new but wasn't, and bunch of other parts he added which was basically junk. I opened up the next box with the one head in it and knew right away I was taken. The head that should have been ported could have been done by a five year old. No chamber work and no exhaust porting of any kind. The intake was die grinded but looked liked ocean waves on a stormy night. I pulled a valve out which showed some pocket porting which couldn't have taken anymore than five minutes. I opened up the last box and the other head was the same way. Now normally I am a very calm and cool person but after seeing this, I was going ballistic. The first thing I did was go to see if I could cancel my postal money order... no go. I contacted ups to see if I could refuse this cod and ups told me I couldn't since I opened the boxes. I then contacted Eric to see what kind of sh*t he was trying to pull but in the end he said I was trying to scam him! So as you can see, he was not interested in taking this junk back. I sat down and thought about it, if I did send it back I probably would never see my money anyhow. I figured I would take the heads to my machine guy and get his opinion. He felt bad for what has happened but said that they were salvageable. I asked if he seen any 3 angle valve job and as you can figure, nope, nada... I called Eric back to tell him that there was no 3 angle valve job and I wanted some of my money back since I was going to keep the stuff since I didn't want to lose out completely. Eric said he would but it has now been two weeks and nothing. I am having the heads hot tanked and magnafluxed so if there are any cracks, I should be able to file a claim with ups. At the current time, I am still waiting for results.
Normally I wouldn't post something like this but sometimes a good deal is to good to be true.... Just remember to protect yourself in the best way that you can.

Thanks for the heads up Henry. It is very possible that it might be the same guy. He told me that he pulled the 350 to put a 455 in his car. The email address that he communicated with me was Ericimpalla@aol.com . I also want to say that the quotes above are direct cuts from the emails he sent me.
