Are they any good threads or ideas on how to remove a body? I am just a weekend warrior and supplies are limited to things like 2x4s, engine hoist etc. The bolts have already been broken free... I can't weld worth a damn and only need need the body off for a few months.
Oh and where are the best places to attach to to lift without causing damage?

    Thanks

I used a engine lift for the front with a chain on the top fender bolts.

In the rear I placed a 2x4 under the trunk floor and use a come along with heavy duty strap thru the trunk area openings to lift the rear.

I kept the interior complete and never opened the door until I was done with the outside and back on the frame.

I did mine over 30 years ago. Pretty much redneck style with whatever was available. Outside & in the dirt. Best overall improvement I did to the car was the new body bushings.

IMG_0001 (2).JPG I made some stands and bolted them to the floor, about 28" tall. I then dropped the frame. I did it on by Buick and my Cutlass. I wouldn't call it for dummies, although some of my friends may think I'm a dummy:D, but my ceilings are too low for a lift. I did both cars by myself with 3 floor jacks and blocks of wood.
