The other night I was thinking about what I needed to do to get my convertible going. Then I was thinking about that headers I bought at BG and I couldn’t remember what I did with them. I just open the trunk of the Skylark to load it full of stuff for this weekend. I found the headers. Sometimes I think my brain is going
Join the geriatric crowd, john. Save some room in your trunk for that coil you sent me last month. Worked great but wasn't the cure for my idle issue, sorry to say.
Thanks Briz! We'll see how tonight and tomorrow morning go. I really did not intend to park it in the show...
Well, it's official. I'll be in the Suburban tomorrow. I made a push to get the Buick fixed, but it just didn't work out. See y'all at Walmart parking lot at 8:45.
Wow... even though my car didn't go, I had a great time! Was nice to see all my Florida Buick family again and meet a couple of new faces! I think Steve said they had over 200 cars registered this year. I took some photos and will post them up later on when I can download them from my phone.
Had a great time and weather was perfect.we caravaned 5 cars and four of us got trophy’s for “top Ten Buicks”. My friend George with his 1000 HP Grand National was best Buick in the show.
Alex's, Waterboy's, and Briz's cars Alvare Racing Pro Touring GSX... this is an Amazing car! Ray's GS is in this group. Another beautiful GS! The gold and white GSX's were also very nice..
Another shot of the gold GSX. I really like this color, especially in the sun! Bogus919's GS This Grand Prix SJ was an original 4-speed car. Not something you see every day. There were a few early Trans-Ams too. Liked the paint job on this one.
This 442 rag top was a very nice car. I liked how they displayed it for Halloween, too! I think it belongs to one of the organizers of the show... That's it for me. I'm sure Waterboy took some pictures too. There were so many beautiful Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs, and Cadillacs there today. Definitely more A Bodies than last year.
What a good day and turn out you guys had today. To bad I missed it getting the lanai cage repaired after Ian. Thanks for posting the pictures. Jim
Yeah, missed you out there this year Jim. Hopefully things are starting to get back to normal again down there.
The first picture is dedicated to John Everett. John, here’s that baby flying proudly with my two grandkids in the middle. Definitely not photo chopped, and as you can see I brought my wife with me. Maybe I should say she actually came with me. Yeah, that’s more truthful.
The best part of the car show, and definitely most exciting part, was when I was putting quarters dimes nickels and pennies on the railroad track just before the train came. When I was finished putting all nine of them on the track, yes I know we didn’t get that many back, I stood up and looked towards the train. Holy ****! He was way too close!
