Well I figured since we can sell non Buick cars in the "Cars for sale" section, then I can sell non Buick parts? And the Jerry Cans are used for fuel storage for our Buicks so with association in mind... I have 40, Brand New, never been used NATO Jerry cans made to the original and highest specs, measuring 468 x 345 x 165 mm, (18.425 x 13.58 x 6.496). They hold 20 liters (5.28 gal) of liquids. Fully paint-coated inside and outside, they also have a full, internal breather pipe for splash-proof pouring. These are the real deal Jerry Can's that WON'T leak no matter what position you store them in, and dont have that CARB compliant crap. These Cans are from my personal collection. $70.00 + Shipping per Jerry Can. New NATO style spout (high quality flexible steel) sold separately for $9.00 each These are brand new NATO Style (pre-ban style) Jerry cans, V-mouth, New Seal, holes for locking pin, NATO style fuel can. Okey Doky, I need to buy a couple of these. Would you be so kind as to provide a way for me to reach you?
Todd, Realize these are new but what "vintage" are they? Friend is currently restoring a '48 Willys Jeep into the military equivalent of that year. Would these be correct?
These were made in 2008 and are the current NATO specs Jerry Cans. Not knowing the 1948 specs I can't tell you for sure if they will be correct or not, but I suspect they would not be correct. I know the American forces used the "screw lids" instead the German style "clamp lid" design. Thank you,
these cans are so cool- I don't really have a need, other than the "CARB" Nazis make it so the new ones sold here in CA. are just junk. seroiusly considering buying two since they will most likely outlive me and may come in handy when the Schmidt hits the fan- I have to ask- where did the term "Jerry Can" originate? ou: Jerry
The term "Jerry Can" originated in WWII by the British. The British term of endearment for the Germans was "Gerry" So when the British capture German hardware (specifically the fuel cans) they called them Gerry Cans and they were a far superior design then what the Allies were using and so were highly sought after. The Allies copied the German made cans and that is how the US came up with it's own version (an inferior version, the screw lid and such sucks) and couldn't leave well enough alone. The British copied them exactly. The term Gerry Can evolved to Jerry Can today. I hope that answers your question. Thank you,

Todd, I will send you a check shortly. Been a busy couple of days around here. Two cans with nozzles by USPS.
Hello, No problem. I just wanted to make sure you were still interested since I'm holding one nozzle for you. I only have ONE NOZZLE left. I made that adjustment in the price. Let me know if that will still work for you. This website sells good nozzles if you want more than one. http://www.britishpacific.com/BPSite/landroverparts/NATOjerryCans.html#spout Thank you,
When you get my check, just send the two jerry cans with the one nozzle. I'll check the link you sent and possibly order another nozzle from them. Thanks for your consideration and time. Regards,
