Broken brake switch removal

    So the brake warning switch is broken in my distribution block. The very bottom if the switch is broken at the bottom of the threaded hole. The new switch is on its way from @Deogi2 .

    How am I going to get the remnants of the old switch out? No way to extract it, especially mounted where it is.

    My idea is to blow it out like you would with a pitman arm seal. You think if I hit the brake pedal hard enough, the switch will blow out?

    I don't think that will work? I think the switch is isolated from the hydraulics.

    Here is a video that show a switch (not a GM one, but I think it's the same concept)

    There was no getting it out in the car. Just once I'd like to catch a break and have one thing go easy but I digress...

    Took the damn thing out and I was able to get the remnants out with a pick and some very small needle noses.

    I dont see the little divot thing in the switch thst indicates the neutral position tho..
