I think the first thing you need to do is come up with an agenda as to what you want to do and just how much you are willing to do work yourself and how much of a budget you have.There are a few places to buy performance parts and dressup pieces like TA performance,Poston enterprises,Original Parts Group,and Year One.They all sell parts that will help you build you a better performing car.You can also check out the parts wanted for specific things you are interested in.I would first try to get a decent flowing exhaust then maybe an aluminum intake with a cam change if you can afford it.A simple tune up will help greatly as well.If you don't have a big budget you can do one thing at a time but try to do things so you wont have to re-do things thus keeping costs down.There is also a wealth of good people willing to help you so ask all the questions you need.
