Hello all, I've got a few parts that NEED TO GO!! I need the money and I'm tired of hanging on to these parts, as I won't be using them in my build. From my memory most of the engine parts (brackets, etc.) came off of a 455 (for sure) out of a 74 Riv. I don't know what bracket is what, so don't ask. I know the engine was complete, so there should be AC/ALT/PS(PS isn't pictured but I do have it) brackets. I have 2 balancers that are in good shape. Under dash AC box came off of a 71 Skylark. Not pictured is (8) 14" Buick Rallye Rims. (4) have trishield center caps, the other (4) have beer can bottoms inserted in them (don't ask). Rims are in driver condition but desperately need to be cleaned. Asking $15/rim. The set with center caps have new tires, the others would make for some good burnouts. 8.2" BOP rear end out of a 68 Lemans (or so I was told...Was installed in my 71' Skylark when I bought it). Has 3.32 Gears, open carrier, gears made no noise when pulled (upgraded to 12 bolt). Also willing to sell the rear sway bar. MAKE ME AN OFFER!!! I'm tired of tripping over this thing! Asking $100. Pictured is a 70-72 Glasstek fiberglass GS hood. The only thing I would use this thing for would be the scoops. Make me an offer, I'll cut to your dimensions and ship it. It never fit properly and had to be modified because "they fit some cars and not others", and then it flew off the car one day (sad day). Please get this thing far away from me, it's only bad memories and reminds me of $600 I'll never see again. MAKE AN OFFER. $100 sounds fair to me. That "should" be all I have for now. Per the sales policies posted in the For Sale sections, all items listed in a For Sale ad must include an asking price. We don't permit "make offer" listings.
I don't really know what the going rate is for most of these items. Can I put $1 and OBO after it? If not I guess I'll have to find another place to post these things.
I'm afraid that's not really within the policy. The point is that we don't allow bidding/auctioning style for sale threads. Posting $1 OBO is just inviting a bidding situation. What are you going to do if someone posts an offer of $50 for an item, followed up by someone else posting $100? What we typically do here when a seller doesn't know what market values are for their parts, is encourage posting your list of items in The Bench, clearly asking only for market values, as we do not sell in The Bench.
I haven't forgotten about you. I'll get the quote tomorrow. Been a hectic passed couple of days. Everything else is still available!
