I am starting to move forward with the 4 speed swap in the vert and will be selling this transmission to offset the pain in the A$$ :eek2: This is a bolt up and go, barely used BUICK TH 400 Short Shaft with Shift Kit and 4K Stall Switch Pitch conversion. It has a very positive shift in all three gears :Brow: Don "The Worm" Elgin the reknowned PONTIAC Drag Racer is the only guy I ever let build my transmissions and he has done so for me since 1986!!! He built this tranny for me with the POSTON 4K Stall Kit in 2004. Never in a daily driver and NOT ABUSED. It has been in the vert with limited usage since I got the car back on the road @ 2006. If I had to venture a guess since I never hooked up speedo cable, I would a couple thousand gentle miles on it? It works perfectly, includes converter, dip stick w/ tube, custom braided hoses, deep TH 400 cooling tube pan, newer mount and a radiator mounted trans cooler bought last summer. I'm interested if it'd fit into a '71 B-body with that short output shaft. I'm going from a TH350, so re-working the driveshaft is a given anyway, so I'm wondering about the trans mounts. Any idea about fitting into a longshaft car? Also shipping to 79508, with or without a dock?

The transmission looks like is has a BOP bell pattern. What year is it and what engine is hooked to? Also the switch pitch feature still works, correct? Let me know as I am interested.
