I have been gradually reducing the collection through a rather non typical manner, in other words sell one, then go buy two more. It's time to stop all of this. It's been one heck of a great time, but it is finally time to say enough. So I am going to sell the ones I can, may end up keeping one, whichever one doesn't sell and enjoy it. Been going down the Buick road too long to give them all away. I have been exploring a different brand, and the idea of performance, comfort, AC and 40 years newer really is appealing. If anyone here has an interest in any of the Buicks I own, I am available to discuss them anytime. You can call, or email, personally, I prefer to talk as I am a bit slow at typing Thanks, Mark 319-361-6465
Well, I hope you save one so you will still be on this forum. Most serious Buick people here know this, but I can attest that all your iron is as advertised or better. I still wish I had this one, that you sold me, back... Best of luck with the sales. Frank
Nice cars! I currently own two of Mark's former cars, and know several others who currently own Mark's ex-cars and are happy with them. :TU:
I would love to own that 70 vert. I would have to trade the Suncoupe for it and the green 72 lark Or the Wifes Suncoupe and cash. Wonder how she would react to that?
In this club too All beautiful cars Mark, It is nice to have a modern toy along with the old. Good luck
Frank, Chris, and Roy, Thank you for your support. Believe me when I say that it means a lot to me . John, these are on an outright sale , I am not going to take anything on trade. If I do that, I just continue the cycle. Gary, The pigs flew :eek2:
Mark, What is the current mileage on the Invicta? Here is the original mileage from when I bought it from the original family. FWIW, Mark is a little off on his dates, I bought it in May 2011, so it was 1 family owned for the first 50 years!
Thank you Chris for the help on that one. I was going from memory and that's not ever a sure thing. I believe it's only up to 67, 000 miles now so still a great low mileage car George, thanks. I'll be keeping one, can't go completely cold turkey on the Buicks, but I am serious about this, it's time to stop.
Frank, The car is better than the Wildcat, it is a true joy to drive. Christmas is coming , let Santa go shopping :beer
Man the Invicta is nice,my family's first Buick was a 62 le sabre,I cut my teeth racing 401's with that car and got me hooked on Buick muscle. I'd love to have it,but like you I have too many and am trying to get another, its a sickness or addiction I guess. gary
I saw this car when Chris found it and it was nice---real nice and in typical Mark fashion buy a nice car and make it nicer I can imagine how it looks now:shock:
One of Mark's former cars currently resides in my garage. Although I would really like to have the 70 convert, which I passed on when it was for sale before Mark bought it. Just don't have the extra :dollar::dollar::dollar: available right now. :ball: Maybe my lotto ticket will hit. ray:
Mark has quality cars and is a quality guy! I am the proud owner of one of his former cars and can tell you, they are worth every penny and they are nice enough to make a calendar, and it's the car featured one the Buick Boys T-shirts!! You know they will not depreciate in value! I wish I had some extra cash right now! Thanks Mark, and make sure you keep at least one old Buick!
