Erik didn't start a new thread when the trip actually began, just continued same thread pertaining to the question of what to see when over here. So, while it looked as though he was still gathering information, he was actually on the road trip. He could of snuck right up on us. :beer
I never left for the States, just posted a few photos I found on the internet, and "Photoshopped" a few board members into these photos.....
The truth comes out! Those are some great photos Erik! :kodak: I wasn't able to view them at work since Photobucket is on the list of blocked sites. So, I had to check them out as soon as I got home. Said hello to the wife first of course.p
Thats actually the reason i never read it before. I just thought he was asking of places to visit and the US, didnt realize it was his trip ALL OVER the US
Yes, sometimes they look depressing. But in some cases they arent :Brow: I found this Centurion. Parked outside for many years. I dont know how long. Looks realy sad. I saw the car and loved it. I had to buy it and thats what I did. Now the car is parked in my garage. New paint job, new grain leather interior, suspension, brakes rebuilt, everything else which was not working fine replaced. Now I have to reassemble it and do finishing work.
Dang, very nice. I like to see that, an abandoned classic turned into the beauty it once was. Nice :gp:
Nice to see another one saved from what would have been certain doom! What the heck were they using for a trunk lock?
