The previous owner of my 70 455 lark butchered up the A/C brackets. I need to know if the upper bracket (which bolts to the intake) is interchangable between 350's and 455's and possibly between 70 and 72. I have a couple 72 parts cars but am unsure if they will bolt up right. If not I'll have to look for one here. Thanks in advance.

'71 had two, depending on size alternator. '72-'73 had two, '74 is different, '76 different again. '68 was one year, '69-'70 different animal again. For '70 455 you need to find the following pieces: Gr.2.317 # 1387136 Comp. Mtg. Brace Gr.2.277 # 1231871 Bracket Delcotron Mtg. Gr.2.317 # 1385628 Delcotron Brace Gr.9.171 # 25503360 Front AC Comp adapter front & # 1375052 rear. Carl, Thanks for the response. I have 3 72 larks (all with air,all 350's) I was hoping someone would know if the top brace is interchangable between 72 and 70 so I would know whether to rob them from the parts car. If not then I'll have to find a 70 455 specific top brace and alt adjustment. Thanks so much for the offer though.
70 Alt upper bracket is unique. 71-72( this bracket was also used until at least 74) is different than 70. The 70 part # is 1387139 same on AC and non AC cars the 71 and later # is 1235837. I may have a 70 bracket around. It would need to be blasted and painted. I would sell it for $25 plus shipping assuming I can find it. If someone knows they have one feel free to jump in as it will take me several days to look for it.
Sorry about that I gave you alt bracket info. The 70 455 upper AC bracket # is the same as 350 cars part is 1387136. The 71-72 is different. I have one of those as well I think if you need it. Advise
I will need both unfortunately. Let me know what you need for them. Thanks a ton. I have the correct lower alt/a/c aluminum bracket and both correct pulleys for the short pump. Just need the top a/c and alt adj bracket.
How about $40 for the pair and that will take care of shipping too. I will try and find them by tomorrow. The both will need to be blasted and painted but will let you know exactly what they look like when I find them.
