Has anyone here used a cable drive style bellhousing in place of a mechanical? Here is a pic of the one I plan on using :Brow:
Yet a couple more, This will be a pretty easy swap to make since I can fab a easy bracket for the pedal
Okay Just a couple more, Was thinking this style could be made to work with a Lakewood or something similar with just a few mods, scrap steel,torch/welder!
Greetings.. That looks similar to the setup that I am trying to complete. :beer Is that a cable setup from a Monza perhaps?? I am working on the bellhousing now, and hopefully by the end of this month I will be removing the 2004r and rowing the gears!!! :3gears: Just curious, what clutch fork are you using??? thealchemist12(milt)
The housing is from a pontiac sunbird 1977 to be exact. It was mounted up to the v6 buick engine and the clutch fork is the stock unit. It will mount a saginaw,muncie,t5,tko transmission to it.
Man...you have incredible luck with that one... :beer All I ever seem too find is the Chevy Monza's(wrong bellhousing...wrong engine....yada yada..) I am going to check out a lead on a bellhousing tomorrow though....good luck with the project. :bglasses: thealchemist12(milt)
