Cable drive

    Has anyone here used a cable drive style bellhousing in place of a mechanical?

    Yet a couple more, This will be a pretty easy swap to make since I can fab a easy bracket for the pedal :laugh:

    Okay Just a couple more, Was thinking this style could be made to work with a Lakewood or something similar with just a few mods, scrap steel,torch/welder!

    Greetings..

    That looks similar to the setup that I am trying to complete. :beer
    Is that a cable setup from a Monza perhaps?? I am working on the bellhousing now, and hopefully by the end of this month I will be removing the 2004r and rowing the gears!!! :3gears:

    Just curious, what clutch fork are you using???

    The housing is from a pontiac sunbird 1977 to be exact.
    It was mounted up to the v6 buick engine and the clutch fork is the stock unit.
    It will mount a saginaw,muncie,t5,tko transmission to it.

    Man...you have incredible luck with that one... :beer All I ever seem too find is the Chevy Monza's(wrong bellhousing...wrong engine....yada yada..) :rant:

    I am going to check out a lead on a bellhousing tomorrow though....good luck with the project. :bglasses:
