I thought this was neat - a chevy with a Buick engine instead of the otherway around! http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/car/442640157.html
That is unusual, I'd say it gets up and goes. By the way Chris, I like the black panels on your hood. Thinking of doing my green conv like that. Was it done along with the original paint or added? Is it satin black? Any details would be appreciated.
>>Hi Roger. My car was repainted in the original Burnished Cinamon color about ten years ago. I had the GS hood, rear spoiler and the GSX stripes added on about two years ago by a local body shop and they did a great job. No stencil kit was used - I gave them a bunch of blown up photos showing the GSX stripes from all different angles and they masked and painted the stripes that way. Unlike the original GSX stripes which were almost a flat black, mine are a gloss black with the pinstriping in sandalwood color (to match the interior) done right up againt the black stripes to make them pop out more (the original red pinstriping would have been an inch off the black). I also just had a hood tach added so I need to update my avatar - I'll probably get that done at the upcoming Buick/Pontiac show next Sunday.
