  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things.   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. cannot control air?

    The blower motor works on my 71 skylark but when I change the selector switch nothing happens. Air blows mostley from the floor and the defrost area at the same time. I'm thinking incorrectly routed vacuum lines or is this in the switch?

    Is your vacuum pod hooked up in the engine compartment? That is what mine did when it got disconnected.

    As Bret said. Check vacuum lines at plastic drum on firewall and also line to brass heater valve to see if rubber lines are attached.

    Yes the pod and valve in engine compartment are hooked up. I do get heat but have no control at the selector.

    Did you do a vacuum check on the vacuum resovoir mounted on the firewall? If it's cracked and wont hold vacuum, moving the dask switch won't have any effect on the blend door in the heater box. I had this same issue with my X a couple of years ago when I charged the air conditioner. Replaced the vacuum tank and all is good.
