$50 for 1 Gallon??? Ummm, Dear Sir, you have unfortunately been ripped off... Take the thing back and demand at least a $30 refund.. :eek2:

I've never paid more then $20 for a gallon of anything..

That crappy Berryman tub of goop was about $16 at Auto Zone. I would never pay $50 for a gallon of anything. Maybe a 5 gallon bucket of it...that's woth it.

I gotta tell you a story, one time my dad was cleaning his 750 double pumper carb. I mean when it comes to cleaning carbs my dad says clensleyness is next to godlyness I mean he puts hours apon days getting a carb clean and working properly anywaz one day i was helping him and he was using gasoline and asortment of wire brush tools and he was cleaning the 2 back dumps (these ones don't get as dirty as the fronts dumps) he ran out of gas, he was edgin for some solution for helping, then i sad lets try some lacquer thinner, and man did that cut the time from hours to minutes.

P.S. you can soak it but if you do make sure you blow ALL holes out with atleast 70+psi, theres also a neat tool (there used for propane, forget the name of the tool, but its used for cleaning the holes of a propane nozzle)

    hope that helps ya out:TU:

you mean a torch tip cleaner? you can get these for oxy/acetline torches. shoulden't cost too much at a welding supply or anywhere they sell oxy/acetline welding/cutting tools.
