Carb # GS400

Please help-Ilost my Steven Dove books!

What is the # for a 65 GS400 q-jet?
Mine is a 7028244 A KA and it looks like it may be a 350 carb.

1968 Special 350-4 with Automatic trans.

 

68 GS 400 Q-jet would be 7028240

 

I type 65 so often...68 seems unnatural!

My Buick parts book (1940-1974) shows these numbers listed for the 400 AND 430: o No:

7028243
7028246
7028247
7028248

It does not say what the carb stampings should be for a 350.

If someone has a '68 service manual, that should narrow it down to THE ONE.

 

Actually the correct numbers for the 400 are these.

i had both the 7028242 and 7028246 68 gs400 carbs. the 7028246 is a later in the 68 model gs400 carb.
