    Hey all,

I am swapping out my stock intake with the TA intake on my 350 this weekend.

At the same time, I am going to try and put a carb spacer on it.
Does anyone here have any suggestions? Does TA make one?
I don't want to have to order one, as I will need it for this Saturday.

I live in Phoenix, AZ so I have access to many shops, I just dont have any clue what I should get.

    Thanks

Aluminum conducts heat really easily so thats not a good choice, if you can make your own of wood, phenolic resin is good. If you are going for bottom end/mid 4 hole is the way to go.
Also make sure you have the hood clearance.

so your saying not needed to have a spacer?
Because the alum intake is going to cool off enough already?
I'm trying to understand. the only reason I am thinking a spacer, is my brother is telling me to get a spacer. From what I understand, this will give more room for fuel/air to mix?

4 hole vs open spacer for mid/high end?

I want a fast 1/4 mile for my first track run on this car coming up on the 2nd.

No thats not what Im saying, Im saying aluminum will transfer heat to your carb easier so DONT put an aluminum spacer on, go with phenolic, cooling is one of the benefits of a carb spacer and yes the other is to give it more room to mix. Do a 4 hole. for your app it will be better.
As far as your 1/4 mile run, I doubt the new aluminum intake or carb spacer will make much of a noticable difference compared to before.
