The carb is in great cond. I just want the correct carb for the 1973 350 engine. When I bought the 73 350 it came with no carb so I took the one from the 1969 400 engine to use. I have a complete 400 engine from a 69 sports wagon. needs overhaul. Found blown head gasket and #5 piston skirt damaged and decided not to use the 400 engine. I took the heads and intake in and had them cleaned and checked for crakes. The head service company said they were in real good cond. I picked up the heads and painted them buick red along with the intake and assembled them on the 400 block so nothing wouls get lost. The valves springs etc are boxed. I have a 1969 400 complete engine to sell. It has the 400 long tail transmission located in new mexico. Are you looking just to but the 7028240 carb?

What are you willing to give? I found one rebuilt but, he wants $190.00 for the 7043244 not saying that is high just low on cash right now. And I also need one before I sell the 7028240 to you. Maybe can swing it but, depends on how much you are willing to give for it.

before we discuss price I would like to see pics and know condition - i.e. has it ever been rebuilt ? is the throttle shaft tight with no leaks ? is the vacuum brake for the secondaries operational ? Does the choke mechanism operate freely and correctly ? has it been run and driven on a car and is known good ?

    Thanks ...
