    Hey
this is my thrid or fourth thread, ad I have a 67 electra conv. with the 430
I have a problem I just replaced the starter and my car wont start still The engine turns over as long as you turn the key but the engine won't fire , I checked the distributer and the spark plugs and they are sparking and I know the carburetor is getting fuel, I even poored a little fuel in the carburetor myself and it still wouldn't fire. There was fuel around the carburetor that leaked out, I am not a carburetor expert so any ideas would help, Thanks

Well, the carb probably needs a rebuild...dry gaskets, bad float needles or seats...I'd start there. There's a possibility the timing chain jumped...that would be my next check.
