Just wanted to say congrats to gary paine for winning the quick 16. And all of the other winners also. Rob Giroux won the gamblers race on friday congrats to him. I believe that was his 3rd final in the past 4 races he has been too. Also congrats to everyone on running there personal bests especially the Zerucha's and ken Voss I know both of them have been working hard for it. I hope everyone had a good time and had no complaints. The only complaint that i know of was from the michigan guys about the tolls on the highways. Now all you guys see what the northeast people go through to come out that way. Glad to see everyone and thanks for coming out. On a side note sorry John stevens did not get his personal best even though we promised he would at this track. I believe he was only a couple of thousandths away. Jack cotton also went 8.96 at 151 on sat. night during a street night at cecil. Not bad for a street turbo car. John Jr

John, good to see a great turnout, how many cars were there on sat? seemed like a lot, I had a blast and it was good to be with many Buick friends. Many people ran very well, my car did good as well, this is THE event to be at , there are so many good folks at this event that make it special, looking forward to next year!

Sorry for the dead battey on the starting line for first round of the Quick 16. I checked my jump pack but it was low after starting the GTP the round before for the FWD class. Glad to hear you had a good time and thanks alot to all the Ohio and MI members that attended!!! Sorry for all the toll roads out East!!!

John, you guys did a great job, it was worth the drive from Michigan, Dayna and i had fun, a ran a personal best there, even tho the air wasnt as 'magical' as it was supposed to be.

Ran a 10:839 @ 120.44 mph, in the gamblers race on Friday...broke out....but what a way to go!
Gotta love the that simple Hydraulic motor!! Doug said if the air was like normal...i could have seen 10:70's, what a salesman,...guess i will be back next year!!
Maby by then the MD dep of hiway robbers will pay US to drive on the freeways!!

Great time, glad to see everyone there!!!

Look forward to seeing you guys again in Norwalk!!!

    drippy's

    John

We are sorry we put drippy's of oil on the track. After the second time down the track friday that fitting must have sprung it's leak. I thought we had it fixed when we ran it in the pits there was no drips but after the 6500 RPM's in the burn out box ,finally it started pouring out. Thats what you get for throughing somthing together at the last minute. I would have liked to got it down the track clean I think there are 9.20's in that 464 may be better I was lookin at the time slips and that 9.50 was on a 1.55 sixty foot :Do No: . Maybe a burn out first would have helped.

We had a great time out there and plan to be there next year. I'm going to start saving for the tolls now so I can bring my car. I'm not sure but I might be able to save enough in a year to cover them. 12.00 bucks for 6 miles just seem high to me :Dou:

thanks again for everyone coming down. It was great to see everyone and cant wait for Norwalk.
P.S. Heard some of you guys had a rough ride home. Just think you saved money by not sleeping. Same thing happened to me on the ride home from flint. Like i was supposed to know that the pocono 500 nascar race would have every hotel booked from the ohio border to the jersey border of PA.

I'll tell you what the GMC duramax we towed with was about the best ride I have ever had towing the trailer it comes in at around 12,000 pounds fully loaded with the car golf cart and all our stuff. With that being said they really need to look at comfort while sleeping or lack of sleeping. Man what a trip. I can't wait till next year.

I have also choosen not to cmment on the retired statement :moonu: :moonu: :moonu: :moonu: :af:
