Ok, i'm in michigan here, flint area.. i was wondering if any of you flint mid-michigan area guys would be interested in entering a car show at the Birch Run Expo Center... the charity in particular is not picked.. but it'll be a cancer charity for sure. we're still working on it and not even really truely sure it'll go.. but we'd really really like to have some very nice cars there, it'll be judged, and classes will be done so everyone has a chance. ultimately though it's going to raise money we hope.. so i'm going to put a little call out for you guys in my area.. are you interested in doing this? $15 entry fee is kinda what we're leaning at.. might be less if you pre register.. and i'll let you all know for sure for those that are interested when i get more information. it's going to be a car/truck show... so you don't need to bring a buick even... this kinda hits home for me because my girlfriend has cervical cancer and a friend approached me about doing this and i'm all in at this point. i'd like to see a few of you guys there if possible if no one can make it that's no big deal, but it could be fun for all of us if we can get together in the michigan area.. i'm going to contact roberta hopefully to see if she can get any of the buick town chapter to join in... just remember. the $15 goes to charity and i'm sure it'll be a good time. the tenative schedule is for sometime early in september..

mr. moses.. i mean john schmidt :) we'd die to see that Riv of yours there.. my friend seen pictures and said "Woooo get that thing here".. we could even setup a neat area maybe for BPG members or something... hell i'm all ears on any special things you guys might want... just think, you might get to sign autographs john :) LOL

it is indoor by the way. maybe if it gets big big we'll ahve some outside as well if its a nice day..

any michigan guys interested? i'd ask others further away but i don't wanna burden you with driving the distance.

i guess my best question is.. how would i go about getting a BPG person there so that we'd have a banner and a some signs and such to help promote a bit while doing some good at the same time? get some people interested... i know this is more BPG forum stuff but i haven't even forked over my membership dues yet.. next paycheck maybe... i'd like to have some BPG presence there if this goes through...

excellent.. i will be contacting members of the michigan chapters of the GSCA and BCA as well.. so when its confirmed i'll be mentioning it here and hopefully those 2 chapters will have information as well.. i'd like this to be fun anyway and would be a very relaxed get together that includes many many other types of cars and trucks... for an example.. my friends truck will be there.. www.stud1y.com

there's really no end to what you can bring :)
