This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

I have a 1970 Buick Skylark Custom 350-2bbl and i was wondering if it was possible to swap out the chassis for a 2013-2015 camaro chassis.

    Short story - No.

Long story - The Camaro is a unibody chassis and a Skylark is a body on frame. There isn't a traditional "frame" on a car like the new Camaro that could be pulled out like older cars had.

Plus, new cars are tiny compared to old ones! It would look like a kid wearing his daddy's clothes anyways lol.

You would be better off financially and otherwise just sliding this under your Skylark.

Call tony at ABC Performance in Michigan and get his frame kit assembly and look at his suspension components, you will not go wrong and have a third of the other costs involved.

His stuff looks pretty decent and the prices seem fair also. While replacing the entire frame is cool, I agree it's not an inexpensive undertaking. You can do a lot of things with the stock frame and still have an extremely good driver!

Ya, I just priced the one I would like, 22 Thousand...

I guess I have to add a lot of fertilizer to my money tree to get that money... :eek2:
