$365 does that include shipping?? $136 for flanges?? hmmm after seeing the price for the flanges i guess that would give you the incentive to purchase the whole set...sorry for the bitterness budget minded and buick do not belong in the same sentence!!

Yeah, thats cool, but that doesn't help my 68 LeSabre at all lol. As a matter of fact, there is a big spot in the TA catalog where it says none of their headers will fit my car without "some modification". Why pay between $300-$500 and then I still have to fabricate?

The problem is that the primaries do not clear other components under the hood, part of the steering system, I believe the catalog said.

This could be completely worked around from scratch much cheaper than buying Buick headers for a way high price and then having to modify, or pay someone to modify.

$136 for the flange kit, plus $70 for some chevy headers, or $65 for header builder pipe kit... My labor is free (for me, anyway...)

No, I have not come up with a cheaper "bolt on" alternative as of yet... However, there is one in the works...

Skylark350, pm me if you are interested...

I will start on the headers just as soon as I get my spring issue addressed... one thing at a time lol.

I just read all this in the hope for a solution.... but nope!

I have a crack on one of the manifolds on my 69 350, was hoping I could eventually adapt something and build my own exhaust, but might have to resort to just weld up the cast manifold for a quick fix.
maybe with time cut my own flanges and build exhaust... but was hoping at least the flanges from something else would fit. would save a lot of time

You either have to make your own flanges or buy the TA ones for a sbb 350. Having access to a mill, with an header gasket you shouldn't have a problem making your own flanges.

You could even make adapter flanges to use sbc exhaust manifolds on your sbb if you're afraid to run headers? Bolt the adapter flanges on with flat head screws then bolt on the sbc manifolds to the adapters.(that is if the bolt patterns don't block each other, I never checked that)

But your best bet would be to get the long tube sbc headers made for your truck and cut the Chevy flanges off and weld on the sbb flanges you made on the mill you have access to. I'm recommending the long tube headers because the sbb 350 is over an inch taller than a sbc. Long tube headers would hang down lower on a sbc engine, should be up higher on a sbb engine and hopefully give you plenty of clearance and work out great? The side effect with the long tube headers would be a nice power and mileage increase.

You might be able to use sbc headers from different apps as well if there is enough space under the bonnet, which IIRC looked like a lot of real estate under there? GL
