  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy..   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete.     for a while now iv been debating on quiting my job. last week i actually went to an interview and things went really well. so the week goes on and now its thursday morning. i get to work and theres changes all over this project i was working on when it has has already been approved! :rant: i get pretty upset just waiting for someone to give me a reason to walk out and quit... then up comes my boss...

    hands me an envolope...
    inside is...

    A CHECK FOR 1000.00 DOLLARS!!!!:grin: :grin: :grin:

    now how can i quit after that! i would look like the biggest prick in the whole world!

    guess i have to wait a few months before i can start looking again.

    Always look out for #1. It may sound harsh, but always do whats right for you......forget about what the boss might think! After you quit he ain't gonna be your boss....MOVE ON AND DON'T EVER LOOK BACK....Lifes to short!!!

    i seriously thought about that but iv learned to never burn any bridges. when i do leave this company i want to leave on good terms so i can still do freelance work for them and make some extra cash.:Smarty: :grin:

    and bout threatning to quit, last time i did that i got a two dollar raise :beer i figure i could do this about twice a year before they catch on:grin: :moonu:

    Exactly. The reasons that existed that made you want to quit last week are still there, and they'll still be there next month. So what's changed? Certainly not the way you feel about the job and how things are run.

    And that won't change.

    Graciously accept the $1000. Cash it. And look for a new job.
