Chrome valve covers

    Anybody know the source where I can purchase factory STAGE 1 Chrome valve covers that are modified (taller) to clear 1.65 roller rockers?

    Just use two valvecover gaskets together. I heard that solves the problem for running roller rockers

    Thanks, I have done this in the past with limited results. I have seen some modified and other than being taller, they were stealth. That is what I am looking for.

    What about FelPro gaskets, part number 1627? They're supposed to be 1/4" thick, aren't they?

    69GS400s ...my own amusement ride!

    A.M & P. (Charle Evans crew) sells a metal "halo" that acts as a spacer for this purpose.
