Well my day was a bust yesterday at my normal junkyard but i finally got out of the buick section and realised that they have 200 plus more cars in a blocked off area. makes me wanna do a lil snooping :Brow: but i dont think that would be to smart. seeing as you would notice a person walking back there. as i left i had to ask the guy what if he had any high end muscle cars back there, fastest NO i have heard in a while makes me want to go back there. anyone been to this yard speedway auto wrecking. also found this great homemade gs hood.okay forgot how to insert image

Hey Bob, I've been to speedway auto, great Buick yard. I also know that homemade GS hood too, from the yard that is. Last I saw that hood, it was sitting between the fenders of a (no sh!t) '70 GS 455 convertible. Did you see it? It's red with whats left of a black bench seat/column shift interior. The VIN plate and cowl tag are gone, but look on the drivers fender, you'll see where the "GS 455" emblems used to be. Talk about SAAAAD. :ball: Also, theres a '71 GS 350 back there, three '70 Skylark 2-doors, five or six '71-'72 skylarks, and 10-12 '68-'69 Skylarks. Plus as many big Buicks you can count, I didn't even try. Unfortuneatly, most of those cars have been there for 20+ years, and are all stripped and weathered. My dad told me he saw that GS convert when it went in the yard some 20 years ago as a complete car with drivetrain and everything. Theres absolutely nothing left of it now, just the one fender and the boxed convertible frame. Makes me sad but I got some parts out of there to keep my Buick goin'. Kevin
