i believe this car is too good for the wrecking yard. 78 buick skylark. doesnt run. i believe it needs a new starter/solenoid and battery along with maybe some other stuff... it ran when parked a few years ago. it has been sitting in a garage since at least 2004. it has 94k original miles. 231 v6, at. interior is nice. exterior is nice, there is one dent on the driver side 1/4 behind the door but it could be repaired prolly not that bad it looks like it can be popped out from the other side. i couldnt get a pic of that cuz i couldnt get to that side but if anyone is interested i can get one. beside the dent in the 1/4 the car is very straght and has no rust. original gold paint. all the windows are good. car has been in california the whole time and still has the original blue plates. it was owned by a friend of the family probably since the 80s. my friend down the street bought it around 1999 and he drove it for a few years until he got a 72 skylark. i have always liked this car and thought of the possibilities (455? 3.8 turbo?) but i have way too many projects and my friend wants to get rid of it. the wrecking yard will give us 400 for it... if you can beat that and can come tow it let me know because it needs to go in the next week or 2. asap because my friend needs his garage space back. also may be willing to trade for 70-72 gs skylark hood. best offer over 400 and can tow it away takes it. car is located in oakland, ca. email me at calioak510@aol.com if interested.
