congrats Very cool article. and even better picture :Brow: ( The world though rose colored glasses )
Petes article probably was the only good one in the book. Some of the stuff they put in that book is unbeleivable,an 81 turbo MonteCarlo, restoring a 6 cylinder smog AMC???? Idont think they will be getting any more of my dough!
Funny you should mention that John .... I was thinking the SAME thing. Who the heck thinks a Monza-ANYTHING should be in a magazine that has the word "Muscle" in the title ......... ?
More Ink!!! I didnt know what everybody was talking about untill I went and got the mail today, Nice article! :TU: Good plug about the Pure Stock Drags too!!!! :3gears: Jim
Thanks guys. I have not seen it yet. With the snow melted here, the dog sled express will be slower than ever! I should get it around the time you guys get your next issue! Might be time to bring that back to Stanton and play again. :3gears: Peter
It's been an emotional roller coaster for Peter this week. First the joy and elation of this notoriety and fame, then the depth of despair over the death of Frank Perdue. R.I.P. :ball:
Great article, Pete...I can never get enough of that Nova! ----------------------------------------- Hillbilly Racing Team
Great article, Peter. JJ had told me about that car, but now I see how neat and unique it really is. Interesting sidelight to the other story there on the high school resto of the 70 442 W30. I spoke with Greg Godon the other day (who did the frame for that car). He said that car had an unlimited budget thanks to Dad's concrete business. Cubic dollars.
Very nice............ Congrats, Peter!! Looking ALL over the magazine for your white Camaro..........DUH ou: ......never knew about the silver Nova! COOL!
Thanks guys. Finally got my issue yesterday! You guys will be getting your June issue any time I'm sure! "Lets see it"!???? I've brought the car to the first 3 Pure Stock Drags events way, way back. Used to at least make the top seven with it. Somehow I think it will be farther down the order now! Peter
yeah baby !! Pete, your car may not be at the top oF the Pure Stock ladder but it's damm sure at the top of MY ladder. :bglasses: :beer :TU: Jim
That Oldsmobile is the first restoration I've ever seen where the mockup tire/wheel assemblies were better lookin' than what they ended up with  Great article, Pete - I read it a couple times. K
I`m still waiting to get my copy. Congrats Pete! Sounds like it`s a cool spread. :TU: :3gears:
Must be nice to have $$$$ to burn :bglasses: I can't believe what he did to his daily driver...............the 69 442 W-31 :eek2: But it must look cool at least
