Hey John, if you want to drop some rpm, may I suggest a set of the tires I picked up after Norwalk? I think I told you about them, but if not...On Scotty's suggestion I went from the 14x32s that I've always run, to a 14.5 x33 "High Growth" Goodyear. They have virtually the same diameter as my old tires, but the tech guy at Goodyear told me that they grow three inches at 150 mph and that would scrub off about 300 rpm. I tested them at Bowling Green and that's exactly what happened! If you can fit them in your tubs, I'd say go for it! You can get the rest of your rpm drop from tightening the convertor. I'd do one at a time though. If you're gonna put a bigger cam in, it'll probably like the higher rpm more than the one you have does. Good Luck and thanks for the encouragement.
