For some great ink from Hemmings Muscle this month on his beautiful 72 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. As I looked over last season's PSMCR pictures, this car really jumped out at me. And at 13.8 @ 98, it's obviously another example of some really knowlegable tuning (another example being Tommy O'Malley's XL - I wanna know what these guys know!) Anyway, I knew Randy's car was beautiful and ran, but the article does a great job with the car's backstory and unique optioning, and gives the PMSCR plenty of great press as well. 45 years after these cars were built it can't be easy to find something new and unusual every month, and I give Hemmings alot of credit for having an eye for the unusual. Cool article and great car... As an aside, I might not make it again this year...after a great early season this spring with the 65 Gran Sport, I managed to blow the low servo cover out of the side of the ST300 tranny and am waiitng for a new case.. I doubt I'll have it together and tuned before September....Anybody need a hotel room?
13.8 @ 98 is really dialed in - great job! Rhett, if you still have that room I will take it - check PM.
Joe - left you a PM on the room. Just got back in town, and I'll know by mid week if the tranny is ready and I can realistically put the car back together and tune it before September and I'll still need the room. Wouldnt normally be a problem but I'm travelling alot for work between then and now...likely the room is yours. I'll be in touch.
