I'm shopping for tires for my '63 LeSabre wagon in 225/65/17. I don't need a high-performance tire or a snow/ice tire. I want a smooth-riding, quiet tire. The Continental TrueContact Tour tires seem to get good reviews. Anyone have any experience with them?
Jon, I just put a set of Cooper CS5 Gran Touring tires on my 98 Riviera. These tires hands down, are the smoothest riding tires I have EVER had on any of my cars, and I am running 40 psi in them (44 psi max) The ride is incredible. https://www.tirebuyer.com/tires/cooper/cs5-grand-touring/p/TV090000847
I had them on my 2006 Pacifica ......quality tire, sadly I only ran them for maybe 4,000 miles before I donated the car bcs of a rusty-crusty cradle frame ... popular on them pacifica's in the Midwest
