  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

So are the conversations between member (otherwise known as PM's ) able to be read by moderators? Having everyone of my posts scrutinized is bad enough but if I want to contact a member in private, IS THAT PRIVACY RESPECTED / Guaranteed JIM???. To me it would seem to be akin to opening someone's mail to CENSOR it. Whats the answer JIM???? ws

NO they are private. Mods cannot see them. I don't know about this software, but even admins can't read messages on other forum platforms that I've used.

I would remind anyone that this board (legally speaking) is a commercial undertaking so you are not afforded any more privacy than the ownership chooses to offer. I'm in no way suggesting that Jim isn't respectful etc, just pointing out that this isn't the US Mail or some government entity so adjust your expectations of privacy accordingly. Or as my boss used to say, "If you wouldn't want to see it on the frontpage of The NY Times...don't put it in writing".

No, Private messages are private, period. I can delete all your private messages, but cannot read them.. that is the only admin power that is available in the software.
